At dahil gusto kong umasa :)

EAGLE-EYED. I remember losing my glasses on room 308 during our Sociology class with Sister Vinoya. That was eighteen months ago, and I never incurred a new one ever since. Not until today, when I asked Dad to just buy me a new pair of glasses rather than a wristwatch (Actually, contact lenses but I find wearing and maintaining them quite laborious so I ended up having new glasses instead). I am very happy because everything appears to be clear now. I can see faces from a distance. I can read signboards. The world suddenly began to look more precise.
No more borrowing of eyeglasses from Justin Tan during enrichment classes. No more hazy subtitles in bus movies. No more blurred faces. I’m not really sure if wearing glasses would make me look smarter, but this is what my Tumblr url says. -simpauco

TIME CHECK. My dad was insisting on buying me a new Timex or Fossil for graduation, but I constantly smugged as the sales agent fits each design to my wrist ( I was holding popcorn then, so I can’t wear them on my own). I never had a thing for watches. Unlike my dad who has a lot, I’m good with just one. I don’t usually wear one. Maybe that’s the reason why I’m either late or too early for everything.
I’m the kind of person who really don’t give a damn to time. For me time is not something to be framed and restricted to a certain activity. Do what makes you happy today, even if it takes you the whole afternoon. :) A day can have more than twenty four hours if you want it to. Don’t be obsessed on sticking to your schedule. Just wake up when the sun is up, eat when you’re hungry, read when you’re bored, sleep when you’re tired. That’s all there is to it. Sometimes what makes life so complicating are the pressures we exert on ourselves. Finish this. Finish that. Pronto.
Be pliant. Be wise. Live by the now. Live like’s there’s no tomorrow. -simpauco
Mom and Dad. I would just to say thank you for a great afternoon. I had fun watching a movie with you guys. Thanks for the brand new glasses and carpets for my room :) I love you! :) -jj
